Originally poor but delicious dish from Friuli Venezia Giulia, made with local cheese and, in this variant, Potatoes and Onions.
Tasty, easy and a great vegetarian recipe too!
Here the instructions: Grate 250gr/ 9oz. of potatoes and 250g / 9oz. of Montasio cheese and mix them. Put half of the mix on the hot pan, put a layer of chopped onions and cover with the remaining potato+cheese mix. Let it fry until golden, then flip it up and cook on the other side. Done! Buonissimo!
