Dr. Maia Love addresses the topic of burnout in health care professionals as a part of the UBC BrainTalks series on How to Prevent Burnout.
Dr. Maia Love is a psychiatrist engaging the science of wellness as it relates to the brain and neuroscience. Her past experience includes advanced studies in sensory neuroscience, neuroimaging, and neuropsychiatry. She is certified as a yoga teacher and mindfulness instructor, and leads retreats for wellness and prevention of burnout. Her involvement with several clinics in Vancouver includes wellness services for professionals. She is also the founder and director of UBC BrainTalks.
