Brian Kennedy is one of Ireland’s most inspired and revered ambassadors of music. With “a voice to charm the angels,” the multi-platinum recording artist is not only a prolific songwriter but a master interpreter of lyrics as well, with more than 15 albums (live and studio) and hit singles. Audiences around the globe continue to praise his extraordinary vocal talents. Virtually discovered by the legendary Van Morrison, Brian toured the world with Van's famed "Blues and Soul Revue" for six years. Brian was the very first international artist to record the now famous uplifting anthem “You Raise Me Up” with Secret Garden in 2001. In December, 2019 Brian fulfilled a life-long dream to perform this signature song on the renowned stage of New York’s Carnegie Hall where he had the 3,000 plus SRO crowd in the palm of his hand as they sang along. Brian has been fortunate to share the global stage and studio with countless incredible performers including Bono, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Stevie Wonder, Sinead O’Connor, Eddi Reader, Moya Brennan, Jeff Buckley, Paul Brady, Dionne Warwick, Mary Black, John Lee Hooker, and even Meryl Streep.
