Gandria, a formerly isolated fishing village, is on the shores of Lake Lugano and at the foot of Monte Bré. It is in the Italian-speaking Ticino region of Switzerland.
A boat travels there from Lugano, and there is a tree-lined pathway called the Olive Tree Trail that connects Lugano and Gandria.
