On March 31st 2021, Valentino Guseli landed the highest halfpipe air ever measured in snowboarding history. With 7.3m (24ft) he put up a new world record. Before him the world record was held by Shaun White with 7m (23ft) according to Guinness World Records. Valentino is a 15 year old snowoarder from Australia and is spending most of his season here in LAAX. His amplitude in the pipe is almost unseen in snowboarding.
