Clivia is a herbaceous evergreen plant with thick, green leaves and strikingly beautiful flowers. They usually bloom from autumn until spring and boast a variety of shades and colours: vivid orange, red, peach, or yellow.
It’s best to feed Clivia in early autumn and spring with a controlled-release fertiliser.
They are best grown in a shaded position under trees with free-draining garden soils.
Regular watering once or twice a week is ideal to keep the soil moist, especially during the warmer season.
