Stop Those Shallow Seeds From Drying Out! It can be a real problem for shallow-sown seeds such as Basil and Cilantro where the seeds germinate, because conditions are perfect, but quickly die from drying out before they get established.
Most seeds germinate best at temperatures warmer than they grow. As such, those planted near the surface run the risk of sprouting, but then dying from lack of moisture. Fear not fellow growers, I have a little paper towel trick that'll keep your young plants nice and moist until those little tap roots make their way down to anchor themselves!
Garden Quickies are hyper-focused 2 minute videos that tackle the most pressing growing questions of the day. I've compiled an entire playlist of them here, check it out!: [ Ссылка ]
