On this journey, I spend the last few hours of my day walking down the Battle Road. The Battle Road is a five mile dirt pathway stretching between Lexington and Concord, which largely follows the original route British soldiers marched on April 19, 1775. We will visit some “witness” houses, gravesites for British soldiers, and some of the key battle sites along the road as the sun sets on the beautiful Massachusetts countryside.
April 19, 1775, will forever stand as a day that changed world history. Journey along with me as I visit the sites and explore the history associated with that famous day!
