This may seem like a strange comparison, but I was actually trying to choose which one to keep because I couldn't justify owning both of them, so I made this video to share my findings. If you're choosing between the Elektron Syntakt and the Roland MC-101 as your ideal groovebox, or if you own one of them and are looking to fill in some of its gaps, this video is for you.

I'm comparing them from my perspective of having owned both for about six months each. I'm highlighting their unique differences across multiple use cases.

These are just my personal opinions - I'd love to hear what you think about the differences between the two, and ultimately which of the two you would choose!
