Here we are today in Florence, Italy at one of our favourite local farmer market stalls.
We love to focus on in-season foods and in particular foods that are only available locally.
One of the wonderful things about eating in Italy is the respect for seasonal produce.

We are at the Santo Spirito Markets on the south bank of the river Arno. Its a lovely area for browsing in antique and artisans shops and has lots of great restaurants and bars.
