Actress Jada Pinkett Smith has admitted that she cheated to Will Smith with singer August Alsina at one point in their marriage. Pinkett, 48, has had a conversation with her husband on Red Table Talk, the program she broadcasts on Facebook, where she revealed that about four years ago she had an affair with August.
According to the actress, the affair occurred when the couple was going through a "difficult time" and they had practically broken up. This confession comes after August Alsina had revealed that she had had a relationship with Jada Pinkett Smith with Will Smith's consent, something the marriage has so far denied.
This Friday, the couple sat face to face on Jada's show to clear up the whole thing and reaffirm their mutual commitment. As the actress has explained, she met August Alsina through her son Jaden. At the time, the singer was 23 years old and "was really sick." "It all started with him needing help and I wanting to help him in his mental health," he said.
According to Pinkett, they managed to help him get ahead just at a time when the actors were going "through a very difficult time." It was at this point that Will Smith admitted, "I'm done with you," while Jada added that they had decided to part "for a period of time."

In the process of that relationship I definitely realized that you can't find happiness outside of yourself."
However, the interpreter has indicated that it was August Alsina who decided to break all relationship with her, something that she saw as "understandable", but that it seemed "a little strange that all this comes to light now, when it was several years ago".
"For me, this was years ago," said Will Smith, for his part, while his wife reflected on how far they had come in their relationship: "We have reached that new place of unconditional love."
