In this video I'll be installing "Tailgate/Trunk Foot/Kick Sensor" to open and close the Tailgate using kick movement. This setup requires some wiring from the map light (constant) and the outlet (acc) in the trunk. If you don't have that outlet, then you need to get a power source from the fuse box or the battery.
For hybrid models, you have the battery in the back of the car. So accessing power source would be much easier. However, I'll perform this for the gas models and specifically for my 2020 Toyota RAV4 Trail/Adventure TRD edition.
