As you practice body awareness through movement, you become mindful that there isn’t just physical tightness in your body, but emotional.
Your body holds so much wisdom so I invite you to check in with your body today and say hello to the emotions that live within your nervous system.
Its true if you’re not used to doing this it can be uncomfortable and scary. You’re not sure what you’re feeling or sensing because for the longest time you have ignored your feelings.
If you’re anything like me you try to keep busy in order not to feel things. The last time you felt it hurt so why would you want to invite that back into your present consciousness?
The reason you want to is because feeling is where healing happens.
