In this video I take through treating two of my favourite deep flexors: the tibialis posterior and flexor digitorum longus. This technique focuses on addressing the trigger points in a safe, sustainable way.
The tibalis posterior trigger point is a great cause of pseudo Achilles tendon and plantar fascia referral. Flexor digitorum longus can also give us pseudo medial nerve entrapment. Being deep flexors, they play an important biomechanical role in controlling the pronation of the foot through heel strike to toe off, so they're both deadly important muscles when treating your lower limb athletes.
