Taking a look at the Acoustasonic Telecaster after playing 10 shows with it in three weeks. I update my thoughts, tell you the things I do and don't like about the guitar. I've had it strictly on the road with me since last week. I do have my EM-6 Diesel Mini Maton in tow with me as a backup.
I also have captured tons of footage from on the road and on private and corporate cover gigs I've played.
My signal path for those interested in knowing what you're hearing:
Fender Acoustasonic / Boss WL-50 / LR Baggs Anthem / Hotone VowPress / Boss OC-3 / Strymon BigSky / Boss RC-300 / Radial Stage Bug (DI) / Allen & Heath Zed 10 FX / Bose L1 w/ B2 Sub.
The things actively coloring the sound in this chain are:
The LR Baggs Anthem. I use this for compression and the compression has a handy EQ dial on it. That way, I don't have to mess with volume going from fingerpicking, solos, and aggressive strumming.
The Strymon BigSky. More often than not I'll have room reverb on the guitar with a super short decay. Just to give it some depth.
The Zed 10 FX. I do some room verb and super short delay just to give the short decays even more to play with.
