There isn’t a singer-actor quite like John Owen-Jones in British musical theatre. Not just for his utter dedication to a role – he made history as the longest-serving Phantom in the West End’s Phantom of the Opera, playing it nearly 2,000 times – but also his extraordinary abilities that saw him become the youngest actor to have played Jean Valjean in Les Misérables: a role he has played repeatedly in the West End and on Broadway.
