Moments before the David Berger Jazz Orchestra hit the stage at the Apollo Theater, to perform Duke Ellington's Nutcracker Suite and Sacred Concert music on December 14, trombonist Dion Tucker was able to get the great Clark Terry on the phone on his 94th birthday, so that we could all send him our love. It's hard to hear him give his response at the end, but we were told he was smiling ear to ear. We love you CT!
