The Pacific Ocean is our lifeline. It is the lungs of our planet, storing carbon we emit into the atmosphere, feeding communities, connecting our nations and the planet. The Pacific Community (SPC) has been working with Pacific Countries and Territories to settle our maritime boundaries for more than 20 years. Secure maritime zones underpin our blue economy, promote peace and security, and improve safe ocean transport.
We have come a long way together, but we must now finish the journey for future generations.
