I'm excited to share my recording of the Aria from the Goldberg Variations, originally for harpsichord, by J.S. Bach. Here performed on the Archlute/Liuto Attiorbato by Jose Miguel Moreno. The arrangement is by Sarge Gebode and edited by myself.

My setup: I'm playing here at A=392hz (because it's where the lute sounds the best), using nylgut strings on the short neck with metal wound bass strings, I'm using the thumb-out position used by archlute/theorbo players in the Baroque period, and am playing with no thumbnail and short nails on my fingers.
