Hey, guys! With the fourth season scheduled to wrap up on May 26, we have great news for the fans of the CBS military drama! SEAL Team Season 5 is officially confirmed. The fourth season had to be cut short to 16 episodes from 20 due to COVID-related production delay. SEAL Team was created in 2017, following the success of another Navy seal series SIX, which aired on the History Channel. The new military series didn’t disappoint. SEAL Team has an impressive viewer approval score of 81% on Rotten Tomatoes, banked 2 Primetime Emmy Award nominations and for three seasons has delivered an average viewership of nearly NINE million per episode, making it one of Top-50 shows on American television. So, the early Season 5 renewal was not at all surprising. However, the Season 5 renewal comes with a big change. SEAL Team will be moving from CBS to the streaming platform Paramount+. And here is the funniest comment from the show’s leading man David Boreanaz about that move: “Oh my God. I’ve been in network TV for over 20 years and now I can drop the F-bomb?!” Season 5 of SEAL TEAM will debut with a special presentation on CBS in Fall 2021 before moving exclusively to Paramount+.
