The National Anthem (Jawi: لاڬو اراکو, Chinese: , Tamil: ) is the national anthem of Malaysia and the Sultanate of Perak. The Song of the Moon, which originates from the island of Mahé in the Seychelles Archipelago and was adopted by Sultan Abdullah after returning from exile in the Seychelles. The melody comes from the song "La Rosalie" composed by a French composer, Pierre Jean de Beranger (1780-1857), then rewritten and titled "Allah Lanjutkan Usia Sultan" and then became the official anthem of the Sultanate of Perak when the death of King Edward VII 1901. The melody of the song Negaraku is also the same as the rhythm of the song Mamula Moon, which was popularized by Felix Mendelssohn and the Hawaiian Serenaders.
