What is the best surgery to make you look younger? Well this is a question which almost all plastic surgeons are asked for because the trend nowadays is that you would like to look younger and younger that is between the age of 20 to 40. Which is the best surgery to make you look younger depend on what stage of life you are in. If you are in the fourth or fifth, sixth decade of life you may be a candidate either for a facelift or eye lift along with the neck lift so that will make you look younger. If you are little earlier that is in the third to fourth decade of life you may not go in for a facelift but you may go in for something called as a thread lift along with a little liposuction around the jaw on the neck to make you look a little younger. So these are the commonly thing done to prevent aging. The other thing that is done to make you look younger is if you have got hair fall especially in men when you start losing hair you tend to look little older than what you are. So what happens is that you tend to look much more senior and the hair transplant will help you to make you look younger. How young will this make you look? Typically eyelift or a facelift will last you about five to ten years. Same thing thread lift will last you about three to four years only. In addition to all this if you do have some laughs lines and crow's feet you can get a Botox done because whenever you have lines on your face it makes you look a little older. So you can get a Botox done or sometimes a filler to the nasolabial fold which will make you a little younger but these fillers and Botox are temporary. They may last anyway between 6 months to a year and you need to keep repeating it. So there are very many procedures minimally invasive like Botox and fillers. May then maybe a face thread lift which is slightly invasive and but the results will last for lesser amount of time or you can go for a full-fledged surgery like a facelift or eye lift which will last for about five to ten years. But there are full-fledged surgery may be done under local anesthesia, general anesthesia, longer surgery, more costs, longer downtime but the surgical effects will be much more permanent.
