(Click CC for English subtitles) Gongs or Chimes was a vintage numbers station and one of the popular ones. It was believed to have transmitted from East Germany and broadcasted during the Cold War and was believed to be heard as early as the late 1960s possibly 1965 or 1969. It transmitted clock strikes and chimes and bells and gongs and was then followed by a female voice from a Stasi-Sprach Machine shouting out numbers in German. Around the early 1990s Gongs or Chimes transmitted its last broadcast which was drunk men singing 'Alle Meine Entchen' [All my little duckling] a German nursery rhyme during the demolition of the Berlin Wall.
