The University of North Dakota College of Nursing and Professional Disciplines' Clinical Resource and Simulation Center has added some new birthing simulators--Victoria and two infants.
Victoria has been crafted to closely mimic a live labor and birth, and allows nursing students to gain experience through simulation.
Victoria has blinking eyes, and a heartbeat and lung sounds that can be monitored. She is also able to "speak" electronically.
Tracy Enger, a clinical instructor at the College of Nursing, gives viewers a look at the new simulators.
