DECK & ENGINE CADET EXAM 3 Things to know before applying for merchant Navy officer courses.
There are 100s of marine colleges conducting the courses for deck and engine cadets.
Merchant navy field has become so competitive that many students end up without a job after completing the course.
To have successful career in merchant navy as a deck officer or a engineer, u need to know 3 very important things before joining a college as a deck cadet or engine cadet.
1 . Candidate should have studied science group in class 12 with physics, chemistry and maths.
Should have obtained more than 70℅ in PCM Combined.
2 . To secure a job , u should have a sponsorship before joining the course itself.
There are many companies offering sponsorship for deck cadet and engine cadet courses.
3 . IMU CET Exam
Indian maritime university conducts a common entrence exam every year.
U should apply and pass the entrence exam to get admission into a reputed college where u cloud possibly get a campus selection. And also to apply for sponsorship exams, u need to clear IMU CET entrence exam.
