In September of 1984, Marilyn Monroe arrived to New York City to shoot the seven year itch movie.
The Seven Year Itch, was going to be Marilyn's most sophisticated movie, with its iconic scene shot at night. Despite the expectation of dealing with less people at 1am, the movie crew had to barricade the set off from thousands of onlookers. As the main characters are coming out of the movie theater, a train passes underneath a sidewalk grating, where they stand. The gusts of air blows the Girl’s skirt up, revealing her underwear. Unfortunately, Joe DiMaggio was invited by the movie executives to witness this moment, that would become a tipping point in his and Marilyn's marriage.
