I would say yes because coconut comes from the complete food category. All the vitamins, minerals and nutrients in proper combinations maintain a better health when consumed by anybody and everybody. During pregnancy I would definitely say yes because ladies have a lot of problems because of hormonal changes like vomiting, nausea etc. During that time they have dehydration as well. Coconut helps curbing those problems and also it corrects the digestive system, makes all the balance in the body and it can be consumed anytime of the day. However in the morning if it is consumed it is very good because in empty stomach if coconut water is taken then it makes the absorption better. It has many benefits. Out of them it is very good for child growth because it maintains the nutritional status of the mother thereby making the baby also in a well balanced state. It eliminates toxins from the system. It is a natural diuretic and drink also. It helps in more amniotic fluid during the last trimester thus increasing the blood supply and the nutritional supply to the foetus. Overall it is very healthy to drink coconut water during pregnancy.
