Boney M. was a renowned pop group that achieved worldwide success in the late 70s. The group was created by a record producer from Germany, Frank Farian, in 1976.
The first four original members of the group were performing artist Bobby Farrell from Aruba; Marcia Barrett and Liz Mitchell from Jamaica; and Maizie Williams from Montserrat. In the band, Bobby was a dancer, rap singer, and live vocalist, Barrett and Liz were lead and backup vocalists, and Maizie was dancer and live vocalist.
