Inside of the concentration camps of the Second World War, there were many execution methods used by the SS guards. Mauthausen was known as being one of the most ruthless and brutal sites, and the inmates had a life expectancy of just roughly 3 months at the end of the conflict. But there was a huge quarry found there, and prisoners were driven up and down the 'Stairs of Death,' being forced to carry 50kg stones. But the Parachutists' Wall was a sadistic game played by the SS guards, and they forced prisoners on the edge of a cliff to either push the prisoner in front of them off the cliff into the quarry, or face execution on the spot.
