Cervical cancer is a significant public health issue, affecting women worldwide. However, advancements in medical research, screening techniques, and vaccination programs have provided hope in the fight against this disease. By understanding the causes, risk factors, prevention methods, and treatment options for cervical cancer, we can work towards unlocking a future free from its devastating impact. Dr. Asma’u Ribadu, an NTIC Abuja alumna and a resident obstetrician and gynecologist, earned her Doctor of Medicine from Near East University and is currently pursuing a master's in public health at the University of Glasgow. Her unwavering advocacy for underprivileged girls and women led to the establishment of her foundation Hope for Her, empowering them through initiatives like the “Pad a Girl” campaign, medical outreaches and blood drives. Additionally, she is the owner of magicdust.ng, a gift business, and a balloon and craft store.
