This is Session 4 of the conference "Gender, money and finance", jointly organized on 20-21 May 2021 by the Oesterreichische Nationalbank (OeNB), SUERF - The European Money and Finance Forum and the Joint Vienna Institute (JVI). The session's title was "Gender, Financial Literacy, Inflation and COVID-19" and it addressed, among other things, these themes: Are there gender differences in inflation preferences, knowledge, perceptions and expectations? Are there gender differences in financial literacy? Which gender-specific effects may COVID-19 have had? If so, what are the reasons and implications?
