My opinion?

Thrivecart is the best deal: Lifetime, upsells, multiple payment options (Apple pay, Paypal, credit card, Google Pay.) order bumps, recurring payments, it's got everything.

Payhip is great for great if you want 0 risk. Less features but still great for courses. But if you start making too much money, the 5% will add up. Aside from that, no order bumps, upsells, and only 2 payment options.

Gumroad is like Payhip but worse.

Udemy, Skillshare, and Skillsuccess are good for people who don't want to send any people to it. Pure passive income once it's uploaded. But... on those platforms, you don't get the customers to sell more, you can't determine price, and they typically don't pay as much.

Patreon is trusted by many, but not really made for courses, more for blog posts, and they take up to 12% of your sales.

Kajabi has many limitations and is very expensive. I guess their email system helps.

Podia is a better alternative if you want an email system.

Thinkific and Teachable are comparable to Podia. They give you one free course, but anything beyond that becomes expensive and recurring fees.

Appsumo can also give alternatives.
