“Big Scioty”, performed by Brad Kolodner & Tony Trischka at the Institute of Musical Traditions (www.imtfolk.org), Rockville, Maryland, USA on March 16, 2015.
Brad Kolodner is a rising star in the clawhammer banjo world and performs tight and musical arrangements of original and traditional old-time music with a "creative curiosity that lets all listeners know that a passion for traditional music yet thrives in every eneration."
In addition to performing and teaching, Brad is an avid supporter and developer of the Old-Time community in Baltimore.
Tony Trischka is considered to be the consummate banjo artist and perhaps the most influential banjo player in the roots music world. For more than 45 years, his stylings have inspired a whole generation of bluegrass and acoustic musicians with the many voices he has brought to the instrument.
