Hi everyone!
On this 8th day of my daily art challenge, let's dive into the world of musical instruments by creating this easy guitar watercolor painting.
I have been wanting to paint a musical instrument using watercolors for so long.
The reasoning is pretty simple, I love guitars. But please don’t ask me to play it just yet :P.
For now let’s just stick to painting a guitar using watercolors.
If you too share a common love for musical instruments, I think this simple yet guitar watercolor painting tutorial is going to hold a special appeal for you.
Why you ask, because one big function of artworks like these is to elevate your core décor theme.
So if you are a music lover, imagine having a vibrant artwork like this guitar painting on your wall.
It will do a great job in elevating your entire home décor.
Well, even if you don’t identify yourself as a music lover, if you love painting using watercolors, I think this guitar painting is a great project to undertake this weekend especially if you are a beginner.
This watercolor guitar painting is easy enough to accomplish, yes, however if you do take up this guitar painting you will find that the painting challenges you out of your artsy comfort zone.
Yes, that’s a thing. No further arguments. :P
Through this watercolor painting tutorial you will learn how using multiple layers can add vibrancy to your artwork.
Additionally, I have kept the details to a minimum to keep it simple for beginners, but I have worked with layers to add some wooden patterns (and some complexity for the lazy sods :P) to the guitar.
I have touched so many domains in this daily art challenge, all the paintings that I have uploaded so far should act as great watercolor painting ideas for you.
But don’t be satisfied just yet.
The daily art challenge is still on, who knows what domain will the wings of my imagination touch tomorrow.
So keep an eye out.
This was my first time when I painted any sort of musical instrument using watercolors.
And I really loved how this guitar painting turned out. Hope it appeals to your liking as well.
