🔹IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT TAXES:
●April 15 deadline is only for expats who actually owe US taxes! Most likely expats aren’t going
to get double-taxed or owe US taxes because of the FEIE and FTC, which are benefits that prevent double taxation.

● Expats actually get an automatic 2-month extension to file their returns. This
means expats can file their US tax return by June 15 every year.

● It’s really important to check your monthly bank account statements. Because if you as a US expat have had over $10,000 total from foreign financial accounts at one time during the year, you need to file an FBAR, which is included in the MyExpatTaxes software. Make sure to convert foreign money into USD!
