In this video, we explore a little bit of archaeologist Marc Axéma's and artist Forent Rivère's theory that when a flickering torchlight is passed over cave paintings of animals with multiple limbs or heads, it gives them movement and creates a brief animation.

While we can somewhat see their point ... really, anything illuminated by firelight seems magical. They do however, make a compelling case when they play the drawings sequentially - [ Ссылка ]
