Katie, could you tell us a little bit about your mom?
"Sure, my mom is almost 95 now and still lives on her own. She's getting old and having trouble, but she's still very independent and doesn't want to give up that independence. I do worry about her because of her age, but I don't want to take away her autonomy. She even refused to wear a medical alert pendant around her neck. She does wear hearing aids, but hardly ever has them in.
That's where Caregiver Smart Solutions has been a godsend. I get alerts when she's moving around and using the bathroom, so I know she's okay without having to constantly check on her. One of her nurses told me to let her make her own decisions and not give up her independence, and this system has allowed me to do that. It gives me peace of mind knowing that I can check on her without intruding on her privacy. I highly recommend this app to other caregivers."
