Added a fuel level sender to a portable gas tank; this modification is very easy. All you have to is drill a few holes, turn a wrench, and purchase the parts.
Steps:
1. Measure tank depth
2. Order Fuel sender
3. Drill a hole for the shaft of the fuel sender.
4. Make your bolt/screw holes.
5. Lay the gasket and drop the sender in the tank.
6. And bolt it down (if you have big hands this could take a minute.)
Once you do this you will have the ability to monitor the fuel level of your gas tank. Preventing your from going dead on the water. Best of luck!
