Tomato bisque recipe (or creamy tomato soup recipe) using canned of Campbell's soup (Campbell's tomato soup can), and milk. In this tomato bisque soup, we use fresh milk, and either Campbell's Tomato Soup or Campbell's Cream of Tomato Soup. Note: We add fresh milk to the tomato soup to make it more creamy (read more tips below for using other types of milk). Note: Other brand of canned (plain) tomato soup should work as well.
TIP: To enhance the flavor of this tomato bisque recipe (creamy tomato soup), you can (optionally) season or garnish some chopped dried basil leaves (or fresh basil leaves) to turn this recipe into a creamy tomato basil soup/bisque, which I highly recommend since we have done this several times (adding basil leaves into the soup), and the basil definitely elevated and enhanced the flavor of the bisque or soup.
TIP: As an alternative, instead of using fresh milk, you can substitute fresh milk with half and half milk (which is basically made of half whole milk, and half heavy cream). Also, try using an evaporated milk instead of fresh milk, the soup will turn out a lot more creamier than using a regular fresh milk.
TIP (for serving): During serving, to give soup/bisque some texture and added flavor, we added chunky The Club Crackers crumbs, just submerge the cracker crumbs to get the soups flavor before spooning and eating it.
