Typhoon Sanba peaked over the course of the past day with wind speeds of 175mph and an air pressure of a very impressive 900mb. The storm is now weakening, and has dropped to 145mph winds as it approaches the Ryukyu Islands. The storm is expected to either make or come close to a landfall on Okinawa Island around a day from this update. The storm is expected to then make landfall in South Korea whilst still a typhoon. Interests on the Ryukyu Islands, the southwestern tip of Japan, and Korea need to all watch the storm closely and make any preparations for an anticipated arrival. Stay tuned for updates.
