PART TWO: [ Ссылка ]
This is one out of three screen recordings showcasing a selection of three Xbox 360 dashboards--namely 'Blades', 'New Xbox Experience' ('NXE') and 'Kinect'--in some open-source emulation software called 'Xenia'. I can finally revisit my childhood years of owning an original-model Xbox 360 console my father bought for me in Christmas 2005, even after losing it for years since last decade.
Here we cover the first 8 minutes of the original Blades.
FINDINGS IN THE BLADES DASH:
* The audio is extremely crappy, despite those smooth animations being rendered in 60fps.
* Though I was able to access the Music Player, Llamasoft's 'Neon' visualizer is entirely absent.
* The visual graphics are very glitchy, as the dashboard was originally optimized to run best on actual Xbox 360 consoles.
* It is not possible to create gamer profiles.
* Some areas of the dashboard, like the Picture Viewer, are not accessible and either do nothing or otherwise freeze/crash the guest.
* As this is an early build of the Blades dash (2.0.1888.0), it does not include themes, nor does the Xbox Live Marketplace have its own 'Marketplace' blade.
