If you are just starting out in lathe turning and wanting to keep the cost down you can buy these inexpensive sets of turning tools from Harbor Freight but there are a couple of them I do not think are worth purchasing and one that is a ok beginner set to have. I have also put in links to a little better set that I own that I got off Amazon when I first started also. This is a discussion on my thoughts after owning them for a couple years now.
