So how do you seal outdoor saltillo tile for depth, color, & maximum protection? In this quick tutorial I will show you one of my favorite recommended sealers for outdoor mexican tiles that not only protects the floors from the weather and watering of your plants, but also brings out the colors and depth on not only the saltillos but the mexican tile grout as well.
These saltillo tile stairs where already stripped cleaned and resealed months ago but because they did not give the floors 24 hours before watering plants, we had to go re apply another coat of Aqua Mix Enrich 'N' Seal to ensure this floor had maximum protection.
This sealer is in my opinion, one of the best sealers for outdoor saltillo tile, mexican tile, terracotta tile, slate, and flagstone if you want to deepen the color and give the tiles a consistent seal that last an protects the tiles from algae, mold, efflorescence, flaking, scaling, and peeling.
This sealer usually comes in quarts and it takes about 4 quarts to do 500 square feet. You will need a pan, a few sponges that you cut in half, and the sealer which you can get here:
