Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree as sanctions mount. The measures are designed to respond to anti-Russian sanctions by the US-led groups. Russia will ban people leaving the country from carrying foreign currencies in cash over the equivalent of $10,000. Transaction restrictions of securities, real estate and loans will be imposed on foreigners from countries that have taken anti-Russian actions.
The newly-signed decree is aimed at ensuring the Russia's financial stability, according to the Kremlin.
While some believe average people will be unaffected, others are still worried. And yet some others feel for ordinary folks. Small businesses are feeling the effect as costs are rising.
