Who is Benjamin Field from BBC true crime drama The Sixth Commandment and where is he now?
BBC's new four-part series, The Sixth Commandment aired yesterday on the BBC and tells the true story of a churchwarden who murdered his older lover.
The BBC described it as 'one of the most complex and confounding criminal cases in recent memory,' as Peter Farquhar was fed spiked whisky by killer Benjamin Field in the hopes his murder would look like an accident or suicide.
Buckingham University student Field, played by Éanna Hardwicke in the BBC drama, was convicted at Oxford Crown in Court in 2019, for the murder of Farquhar, portrayed by Harry potter actor Timothy Spall.
