The Pe-2 M-82 had a bit of a rocky start, but it quickly has become as capable as the previous Pe-2, if not slightly better thanks to its frontal cannon being capable of more than just mildly tickling the enemy. However, aside of having better stats all around (aside of the ordnance) the plane doesn't really have a special quirk that sets it apart from the standard Pe-2, unlike the Soviet GAA line where basically every tier has something special over the previous one, aside of the tier 10 IL-40P being simply a better IL-40.

However, the plane is still fun to play with. At least when it's not being chased by heavies. Bot heavies in particular seem to love headhunting the poor thing.
