Some special guests are in Columbia experiencing the sights and sounds associated with the city as part of a unique tour.
The crew of the USS Columbia is accustomed to the confined quarters of the fast-attack submarine and the shores of Hawaii, where the sub is stationed.
But this week they're visiting the mid-Missouri town that shares a name with their specialized navy craft.
Brad Foster, Commanding Officer of the USS Columbia, said he's been stationed on three other submarines, and this is the first time he's had the opportunity to be an ambassador to any of the cities his sub has shared a name with.
