In recent months I've been battling with the sketch crashing after a couple of days (hence a very slow process to troubleshoot) and have been stripping it back to work out what the problem is, hence there is some delay in continuing. If anyone would like to collab, and you have a spare ESP32 sitting around (I'm using the "MH ET Live ESP32Minikit", the one that looks like a D1 Mini but with 2 rows of header pins) then please get in touch.
JAN 2021: It’s 2021 and time for the multisensor ideas that have inhabited my mind for years now to come to fruition!
This video is about my DIY ceiling-mount Multisensor for Home Automation presence sensing and more. The video shows the detailed design of the 3D printed housing in Fusion360, and discusses ideas for further development.
It features 10 pixels in a ring to act as a way of notifying people in a room of something eg alarm status, doorbell, weather etc, plus a PIR, microwave sensor, temp/humidity/pressure, audio sensor, ambient light sensor... can you think of any more useful sensors to include?
The project is still at ideas stage so hope to post an update when it is developed further.
