Despite a middle order collapse, a 164 run opening stand between Michael Klinger (88) and Phil Hughes (73) has helped the West End Redbacks to a four wicket win in the Ryobi One Day Cup clash against the Bushrangers.
The win ends a successful week in Melbourne, taking 10 points across the Bupa Sheffield Shield and Ryobi One Day Cup.
It also gives the Redbacks a huge advantage in regaining the David Hookes Cup, played in memory of of Hookes who represented South Australia and coached Victoria.
