Beyond the Height-of-Land 25 Days In the Northern Manitoba Wild - E.16 - Arctic Grayling & Seals:
Canoeing and Portaging, outfitting in tow Ted Baird and I are way off-grid, questing for the Hudson Bay. We stay at the most amazing campsites of this Northern Manitoba wilderness trip so far where we find caribou antlers and enjoy over the fire cooking Northern Pike while watching a perfect sunset. We go on to see our first seal on Day-16 as we finally enter the current If the Seal River and soon catch Arctic Grayling for dinner! This is remote wild camping at its finest a true Canada outdoors survival trip. We’re paddling across the Northern Manitoba wilderness which includes a descent of the Seal River, a Canadian Heritage River in its entirety.
